Elmwood Trail, Dallas, TX
Project included design of a new shared use trail connection from Kiest Park to Elmwood Boulevards, Elmwood Trail. Urban Engineers Group provided overall project management and design of trail plans, associated pavement marking and signage plans. Additional scope included design of pedestrian bridge crossing and associate traffic signal improvements.
Traffic Engineering Services
• Developed traffic control plans to minimize potential disruption to numerous commercial businesses located within the project limits during construction.
Paving Design Services
• Prepared design plans for 8-ft wide trail concrete pavement,. Scope also included several roadway intersection improvements and designing ADA compliant ramps.
Drainage Design Services
• Scope also included analysis of existing creek crossing to ensure the bridge is above 100-year water surface elevation.
