Urban Engineers Group, Inc. (UEG) is a Dallas-based consulting engineering firm providing a wide array of general civil engineering and landscape architectural services to public and private sector clients. Established in 2002, UEG is certified as a Hispanic Women-owned Minority Business Enterprise (D|M|WBE).
As a significant portion of the firm’s business comes from repeat clients, we focus on building long-term strategic relationships. UEG staff works closely with clients to understand their business objectives and strive to identify the best engineering solutions to achieve those objectives and bring value to their projects. We proactively provide creative and dependable engineering services which result in practical and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions. We work as an extension of our clients’ staff with the common goal of providing a quality product on time and within budget. Above all, we seek to guard the public trust and the trust of our clients. Our employees are our biggest asset. They make us who we are. UEG staff presently includes two Licensed Professional Engineers, including a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, two engineers in training, one Registered Landscape Architect, two senior design technicians and additional part-time contract employees.
Faisal Syed, PE, PTOE, Principal
Faisal Syed, PE, PTOE, has more than twenty years of experience in diversified aspects of civil engineering design and management. Mr. Syed was previously employed with the City of Dallas Public Works and Transportation Department; during which time, he managed and coordinated construction and provided all aspects of project management.
Nilsa Luna, President
Nilsa Luna has more than nineteen years of experience in diversified aspects of civil engineering analysis, design and management. Ms. Luna has been previously employed with the City of Dallas Public Works Department where she provided all aspects of project management through design and construction of various street and storm drainage projects to improve the City’s infrastructure.
